This is a publication of the Japanese Studies Program (JSP), one of four area studies programs of the International Studies Department at De La Salle University. The JSP offers the only undergraduate degree program in Japanese Studies in the Philippines. This publication aims to develop an understanding of unique Japanese contributions and insights, as well as an understanding of Japanese history, economy, politics and culture. One of its goals is also to increase awareness of the nature and role of Japanese business and financial organizations in economic development.
